We are an independent, educational, non-profit, membership based organisation with no share capital and are a registered charity. As part of our non-profit status, we currently have over 550 educational and corporate
member organisations from across the globe. We pride ourselves on being an efficient, forward-looking and friendly organisation, which always puts the needs of its authors, customers and members first.
Governance
ecch in the UK is governed by its
Memorandum and Articles of Association. An
executive committee, comprising up to nine academic representatives of member organisations, meets three times a year to establish ecch policy and oversee operations. The operations of ecch in the US are supervised by a
board of directors, that brings expertise from both academia and corporations.
