Case writing resources

Supporting case authors is a key part of ecch's mission. Alongside our case submission service we also provide authors with access to a range of resources designed to develop their case writing skills.

Case writing workshops

As a non-profit organisation, ecch workshops are affordably priced. Participants from ecch member organisations receive a 10% discount on all open programmes and new members are entered into a monthly draw for a complimentary workshop place.

The open programme

ecch runs regular open case writing workshops at international locations for new and experienced case authors and research assistants who write cases. The ability to generate your own cases to use in the classroom can greatly enhance your impact and enjoyment as a teacher. Participants demand evermore relevant and challenging materials and teachers often need to tailor cases to their classes. The open case writing workshops aim to develop confidence in case writing, provide practical advice and help participants produce quality cases faster, with a more effective use of resources. Case writing workshops also cover the development of teaching notes and often include the opportunity to draft a case. Most case writing workshops last between one and three days and involve some preparation. View current events

Customised programmes

ecch works with individual institutions to put together customised case writing workshops to be held at their site. These unique events are developed in close collaboration with the organisation to ensure that learning objectives, time span and budget are met. Find out more
