Case methodology of teaching and learning is an important component in management education. Business and economics cases tend to change/metamorphose over time, with geographical region, and over cultures and societies, and are almost always deeply rooted in a context or setting. Also, being an interdisciplinary and applied subject, there are a plethora of subject areas which are required to be studied with cases.
Realizing this ever-increasing need for a variety of cases and to keep them live and kicking, we invite researchers, educators and consultants (collectively, case developers) who have the insight and expertise to develop cases based on real-world people, culture & society, economic scenarios, business situations and organizations, and also update them from time to time. The academic case developers often get exposed to business organizations through consulting assignments and other corporate relationships which help them in portraying the difficulties and the lessons in the right perspective when they convert their reports into teaching cases.
The practitioners, largely consultants, managers and entrepreneurs, often take up teaching/researching assignments in b-schools as a part-time vocation. They develop cases which are often very unique in blend and scope of application. For cases where clients give permission, the cases are published as real cases, but in other cases (where permissions are not given) they are disguised to make simulated cases.
Most if not all of our cases are exposed and tested in the classroom to free them from unnecessary biases, loose unconnected data and other blind spots. Our focus is global, but rooted firmly in India. We extend support to case developers by the way of publishing them as case-collection books or as learning aids in textbooks. More often than not, our esteemed authors/editors of textbooks write cases for their own textbooks. All our authors/editors of textbooks and case-collection books are rewarded with royalties on every copy of sale of their books/cases.

For educators/instructors, we provide support by providing teaching notes to help them wade through the cases and raising the right issues for discussion in classroom. Cases that are used in textbooks have case questions for students to work out and present their views in the classroom. We address virtually every segment of the Business, Management, and Commerce education markets. Using traditional materials, on-line learning and multimedia tools, we empower the growth of students, teachers and professionals.
Our technical innovations are changing the way people learn, with Mobile devices, On-line Testing, On-line tutoring, Customized Course Web sites, e-Books, and Subscription Services. E-books of our textbooks can be purchased from www.infibeam.com.
