About Allied Academies
Allied Academies is a non-profit organization founded in 1995 in the United States to support the exchange of research and information of academics from around the world. It is an affiliation of more than 12 separate organizations and it sponsors
three international conferences each year. Each affiliate sponsors at least one journal, and Allied publishes and distributes the journals for its members.
About the JIACS case collection
The first affiliate to join Allied in 1995 was the non-profit, International Academy for Case Studies, and Allied supported the launch of its journal, the Journal of the International Academy for Case Studies, that same year. The JIACS has become a major presence in case publishing. A double blind, peer reviewed journal, the JIACS publishes cases in all fields, subjects and areas, and presents work from researchers from around the world. Its Editorial Review Board is more than 100 members strong and features an international membership of case scholars. The JIACS archives are a treasure trove of cases, each with full instructor notes, all designed to support case teaching in a wide variety of disciplines. At six issues annually, the inventory of cases is continually growing, and all are available through ecch.
