Invitation to participate in the 2009-10 Beyond Grey Pinstripes alternative ranking of business schools, 18 August 2008
Beyond Grey Pinstripes is a research survey and alternative ranking of global MBA programs organised by the Aspen Institute's Center for Business Education. The survey is conducted every two years and seeks to identify all classroom teaching, faculty research, case writing and innovative case methodology, and extracurricular activities that are related to the social and environmental impacts of mainstream business.

The International Commerce Review: ECR Journal brings findings from the latest research in the world's leading business schools and universities to the attention of industry practitioners and it communicates practitioners' research priorities and interests to academics. ACRC programmes to be shown on BBC World, 13 March 2008
Six 30 minute programmes, developed by ACRC in co-operation with the Journalism and Media Studies Centre at the University of Hong Kong, will be shown on BBC World in the run up to the Beijing Olympics.

ecch launches new on-line ordering process, 26 March 2008
ecch's on-line ordering process has been relaunched as part of its continual development of the facilities available through case search at www.ecch.com/casesearch. The new features, detailed below, bring enhanced usability to the website and aim to provide the best possible user experience.

Simplified Chinese translations from the ACRC now offered by ecch, 20 March 2008
ecch is pleased to now offer Simplified Chinese translations of 146 case studies and 109 teaching notes from the Asia Case Research Centre (ACRC).

ecch European Case Awards 2008 winners announced, 6 March 2008
INSEAD has won six of the nine categories in the 2008 ecch European Case Awards and the overall award, for the second year in a row. Judge Business School won an award for the first time in the 18-year history of the Awards. London Business School and IMD also each won a category award. Several of this year's winning case studies looked at issues of developing countries and corporate social responsibility.

ecch appoints new director, 28 January 2008
ecch and its Executive Committee are pleased to announce the appointment of Richard McCracken as the new Director of ecch, effective 1 March 2008. Richard will succeed Jeffrey Gray who died suddenly in June 2007.

The Case Study Handbook now available from ecch, 17 January 2008
A new book,The Case Study Handbook, opens the door to learning with cases, allowing instructors to focus on teaching the case. The author of the book is William (Bill) Ellet, principal and editor of Training Media Review.
