Searching
Case search is a powerful and versatile search facility that is designed to help you find cases relevant for your requirements. With over 65,500 items in the ecch collection case search has been developed to help you navigate the material and narrow down your search.
Advanced search
Advanced search will help you to identify a case(s)/item(s) that most closely meets your needs by using a variety of fields to narrow your search (eg topic, industry, geographic location, author's institution, year of publication, etc).
Quick search
Quick search will help you to find a case/item if you already know specific information about it (eg reference number, featured company, author etc).
Accessing case search
To access case search or my profile click on the tabs in the top right hand corner of our website.

Click to read our FAQs about searching for cases.
Using your search results
The search results screen displays all products that match your selected search criteria. Your results are shown alphabetically by title, ten to a page, most recent first. Should you wish to an option is available to re-sort the list.
Your search criteria are summarised at the top of the page and there is a link to refine your search if too many or too few items have been found.
Click on the item title to view full product details, including the author and an abstract of the items contents. If you are registered and logged in, you will also see a list of the formats in which the item is available (eg paper, electronic). You also have the option to e-mail the product details to a colleague or save the product to your favourites list.
Inspection copies
Inspection copies are provided for teachers to assess the suitability of a case. They are not for classroom use, they contain the full text of a case and every page is clearly watermarked as an inspection copy.
Over 39,500 items in the database are available as electronic inspection copies in pdf format for registered, eligible users to view on-line. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view a pdf. Members of faculty worldwide, administrators at educational organisations and staff at ecch corporate members are eligible, to view on-line inspection copies if they are registered and logged in.
This icon appears if an on-line inspection copy of the item you are viewing is available. The icon is shown on both the search results screen and again when full product details are displayed. Click on the icon to view the inspection copy. If you click on the icon and are not logged in, you will be prompted to do so. If you click on the icon and are not eligible to view all inspection copies on-line, you will be redirected to the help module which will explain your options.
