ecch is an independent, non-profit, membership based organisation dedicated to promoting the case method of learning. The ecch case collection of management case studies and journal article reprints is the largest in the world. It is a unique and accessible resource for business school and university teachers worldwide. ecch has twenty eight employees and is located at Cranfield University.


Job description

We are seeking a System Developer to join a small team responsible for our bespoke integrated web-based system. Reporting to our current System Developer.


Key aspects of the role
  • programming using relevant software
  • assisting with maintenance and support
  • recommending developments in partnership with other members of the team
  • assisting with the implementation and thorough testing of all new system developments
  • undertaking associated general tasks as requested.

Key skills and qualifications
  • one to two years working knowledge of Coldfusion, MySql or SQL Server, JavaScript and HTML
  • general IT troubleshooting skills
  • the ability to demonstrate thoroughness, accuracy and attention to detail
  • a willingness to take on a challenge
  • the ability to multitask and work to deadlines.

Experience of using CSS, Photoshop and Dreamweaver, or similar software, would be an advantage.
