Can I search for cases on-line?

Yes, you can visit our website at www.ecch.com/casesearch. Our powerful and versatile search facility will help you identify relevant items from the on-line catalogue of the ecch case collection. Using the advanced search form you can look for cases in a number of ways, including by country, company, management discipline, topic or date. Once you have identified a case you can order a paper inspection copy or if authorised, you may preview the case on-line. If you decide that you would like to use the case in class you must order the correct number of copies for classroom use.

Are there topics that I can search on?

To enable more tailored searching our database is not categorised by subject or topic areas. Our facility allows you to search on any keywords that you are interested in. Each author provides information on their case and the database searches this to find products that match your personal search criteria.

How do I search on a reference number?

You can search on a reference number using the advanced or quick search. Ensure that you input the number exactly as it appears on the front page of the case or in an ecch publication (bibliography, case collections update, ECCHO etc) including any hyphens or full stops eg. 302-033-1, IMD-3-0873, KSG1859.0. If you have any problems, please contact the ecch helpline.

Can I search on multiple reference numbers?

Yes, using the advanced search form. Input a reference number in each of the first four search term text boxes on the form. Please note that you must change the AND option between each of the text boxes to OR.

How do I find related products?

Any related products (eg teaching note, video) will be listed at the bottom of the full product details in case search. To access the full product details, submit your search and click on the product's title in your search results.

I bought a case last year but can't find it now, what should I do?

Please contact our helpline. From time to time cases are withdrawn temporarily (eg for revision) and our helpline staff may be able to find further information about the item you are interested in.

How can I find popular cases?

Each year we publish a list of the 100 best selling cases for the preceding year. This is indicated within case search by the words *best selling case* in the title. The European Case Awards are presented annually to recognise the authors of cases that have achieved the highest growth in popularity worldwide. Information about any awards a case has won is displayed at the end of its abstract in case search.

How can I find out about new cases?

We provide three free ways to find out about new cases: monthly e-mail updates, quarterly case collections updates and quarterly bibliographies.

Do you only have cases in English?

The majority of cases we distribute are in English but there is a growing number, over 800, in other languages. The advanced search form includes a language field for identifying cases in other languages.

I am having problems finding the right case. Can someone help me?

Yes, our friendly helpline staff are available to assist you with case search. On-line or on the telephone, we are pleased to help you identify the right case and search for it - and it's free.
