Can anyone place an order?
Yes, however certain items are not available to some people eg students may not order teaching notes.
If any material ordered is unavailable, a member of our Customer Support Team will contact you on receipt of your order.
What is the price of a case study?
We price cases and journal article reprints at a standard rate per copy. The cost of your order will be calculated automatically if you place your order on-line.
Does ecch offer a discount on bulk orders?
As a non-profit organisation our prices are set to cover our running costs only. We are therefore unable to offer discounts. However, if you are in a developing country your organisation may be eligible for CPP (Concessionary Pricing Programme) which provides an 80% discount on the price of cases. The undergraduate case master scheme offers a site license for some materials.
Can I have my order collated into a case pack?
Yes, for a 10% surcharge, we will collate the cases you order into a case pack. For an additional charge, you can specify the front page (eg your logo, course details etc) and choose whether to have the packs comb bound or shrink wrapped. If you would like more information on this service, please contact our Customer Support Team. Please note that this option is not available to customers in North America.
How many copies do I need to order?
You must order one copy of a case for each individual student eg if your class has 45 students, you must order 45 copies of each case you wish to use with them. When educational customers order multiple copies of a case, a complimentary copy is included for the instructor. Multiple copies are a minimum of 5 copies per item. Quantities below this will be supplied as inspection copies, which are not for classroom use.
If I am ordering a multi media product do I have to order one copy per student?
This depends on the item you are ordering. Some items are available as a networked version which can be made available for all students to access, others must be purchased for each individual student. The appropriate options for the item will be displayed when placing your order on-line.
I am ordering for an exam, do you offer any special services?
Due to the copyright act in the UK and Ireland, customers in these countries may use the ecch exam master service when ordering cases for bona fide examinations. Click for further information on this service. ecch is not able to offer any special services to customers ordering for exams in other countries.
Do I need a purchase order number?
Please follow your organisation's requirements to avoid unnecessary delays in processing your order. If your organisation has told us that a purchase order is compulsory, the purchase order field will be mandatory during our on-line ordering process.

Orders must be placed in writing but, for your convenience, we offer a variety of options:
If I can't order on-line what details do I need to provide?
If you choose to place your order by e-mail, fax or post, please include the following information to avoid unnecessary delays in processing your order:
- titles and reference numbers of the items you wish to order
- how many copies of each item you require
- course details (tutor, programme name and dates, if it is degree awarding or executive education)
- your invoice and delivery addresses
- a purchase order number if you have one
- your preferred delivery method and shipping option
- a contact name, telephone number and e-mail address
Why can't I place an order over the phone?
Your order must be placed in writing to ensure that we have all the correct information to process and despatch it quickly.
Can I add an item to my order once it is placed?
As long as we have not despatched your order, you may add items to it. Please note that your shipping cost may increase as this is calculated as a percentage of the total order value. Please contact our Customer Support Team if you wish to do this.
Why do I have to provide course details?
We are required to report course details to the schools whose cases we distribute. When placing an order on-line you will be asked to provide the information that we need.
How quickly can I get a case?
Although we print to order, as we do not hold stock of the items we distribute, the usual turnaround time for the majority of items is only two working days, or one working day for electronic delivery. Some items (eg videos) may take longer. If it is likely to take more than two working days to despatch any of the items on your order, a member of our Customer Support Team will contact you.
What delivery methods are available?
Most items can be delivered by a range of methods depending on the type of organisation you are from and the position you hold. Click to view some of the possible options. When placing an on-line order, you will be able to select from the delivery methods available to you for each item you order.
Can cases be supplied for visually impaired persons?
