About ESMT
ESMT European School of Management and Technology was founded in October 2002 on the initiative of 25 leading German companies and associations. The founders aimed at establishing an international business school, based in Germany, with a distinct European focus. As a private institution of higher education, ESMT provides executive education (since 2003) and an international full-time MBA program (since 2006) and an Executive MBA, starting in 2007. ESMT is located in Berlin. Further campuses are in Munich and Cologne. ESMT is fully accredited as private institution of higher education by German authorities.
ESMT is fundamentally defined by its corporate heritage, the 25 German global leaders who have founded the School. The close working relationship to these founding companies encompasses personal relationships with senior management, research and case writing opportunities on cutting edge issues and personal engagement in the teaching process by top company management. This intensive exchange with industry results in integrative and practice-oriented programs.
ESMT has over 40 cases, teaching notes and supplementary items in the ecch collection. Francis Bidault, Full Professor and MBA Director, and Jamie Anderson, Senior Lecturer, who is also a regular tutor on ecch case method workshops, are ESMT's award winning case authors.
