| European Business Schools Case Challenge |
The role of students in creating a successful case class is recognised in the European Business Schools Case Challenge, which is held every two years at the school of the last winner.
The case challenge brings together teams from the top fourteen European business schools for three days to work on a case, especially commissioned for the event. The teams are judged in stages and receive credit for analytical, innovative, decisive and dynamic problem solving and team work as they resolve the issues encountered in the case.
2005 at the Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK. The event was won by INSEAD. 2007 at INSEAD's Europe Campus, Fontainebleau, France. The event was won by IMD.
European Business Schools Case Competition 1998
The European Business Schools Case Competition was held from 26-28 June 1998 and was part of the ecch Silver Jubilee celebrations. The international competition, sponsored by Gemini Consulting, invited twenty-five schools from across Europe to send teams. Five MBA students from the then recently established Said Business School at the University of Oxford won this competition, which took place at the Management Development Centre on the campus of Cranfield University. This competition was the precursor to the biennial European Business Schools Case Challenge.
