 About CEIBS Case Development CenterCEIBS has devoted a considerable amount of resources on research and case-writing. The result has been the creation of a body of intellectual capital that is beginning to establish the school as a centre of knowledge regarding the practice of management in the Chinese context. CEIBS cases cover a number of issues including branding and marketing, corporate governance, market entry strategy, cross-cultural management and economic environment for international business. We pay special attention to the study of how Chinese corporations emerge as global competitors and how overseas corporations grow their business in the Chinese market. We believe that these cases will contribute to a better understanding of the competitive environment in China and thereby a better performance of companies operating in China. Ever since the birth of CEIBS Case Development Center, over 160 cases have been completed with 102 CEIBS cases released in the ecch case collection as of June 2006. CEIBSChina Europe International Business School (CEIBS) is a non-profit joint venture established in 1994 under an agreement between the Chinese government and the European Commission. CEIBS offers a full-time MBA programme, and Executive MBA programme and a wide array of Executive Education programmes in mainland China. After a decade of hard work, CEIBS has been widely recognized at home and abroad for its achievements. CEIBS is the only mainland China business school earned the accreditation from the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) and the only Asian business school to achieve global ranking listings for its MBA, Executive MBA, and Executive Education Programmes. The school's business programmes integrate best practices from both Western and Eastern styles of business education.
