Application Timetable Contact
Application
All applications should be made on an official form available below and should include a 300-word description of the scope of the proposed case; the subject areas, concepts, and teaching objectives that it would embody. It should indicate the various types of data that are available, and any further research requirements that might be necessary.
All applicants will make a formal commitment to meeting the submission requirements of the timetable as detailed below.
A review of applications will be made by an independent panel of experienced case teachers. The review process will be "blind", with the names of authors and their institutions removed from applications in advance.

Timetable
Applications should be made to ecch for receipt by:
- 31 March
- 30 June
- 30 November
Successful applicants will be notified by the end of May, October, and January respectively.
A first draft of the case should be submitted for review within four months of notification of the scholarship award, at which point 50% of the scholarship will be paid. Where a scholar expects to incur out-of-pocket expenses in carrying out additional fieldwork that relates specifically to the proposed teaching case, ecch will consider making an advance payment prior to the submission of the first draft. The scholar should explain the details in writing to the Director of ecch, whose decision on the matter will be final.
The case drafts will be returned to authors with reviewers' detailed comments within a further two months. Authors will be expected to take note of these comments in refining their cases.
A final version of the case, together with a comprehensive teaching note, should be submitted within a maximum of twelve months from the submission of the first draft. Evidence will be required that the case has been, or is intended to be, used in the classroom. The balance of the scholarship will be paid at this time.
