How CPP works

Under the programme, eligible institutions, who must become members of ecch, order their case on-line. ecch supplies a complimentary case master as a sealed pdf and charges the institution at a fraction of the normal rate for the number of copies to be made by them.

Teaching materials available

In principle, all black and white cases and journal article reprints in the ecch catalogue that are available electronically are covered by CPP and provided at the 80% discount price of GBP0.62 per copy to registered institutions. The programme does not cover cases to be used for executive education, which must be purchased at the usual rate.

The foremost case producing institutions in the world, including the most renowned business schools and universities have given their full support to CPP and allowed the distribution of their cases, teaching notes and journal article reprints through the scheme.

Access to cases

As a non-profit organisation, ecch keeps prices as low as possible but, historically, cases have still been out of the financial reach of most institutions in developing countries. CPP makes them more accessible.

Free ecch membership

Institutions eligible for CPP will receive their first year's ecch membership free with no obligation to continue. If after this trial period the organisation does not wish to continue, it can withdraw the CPP application. If the institution decides to continue with membership, the annual educational membership fee will apply (GBP165). Subsequent years will also be charged at the applicable full rate. An institution can only benefit once from the year free membership offer.

Teaching with cases

Case studies are recognised worldwide as one of the most exciting and effective methods of teaching. Students of management and executives around the world continually testify to the benefits of learning with cases. CPP helps business schools and universities in the developing world teach with case studies.

ecch case collection

ecch offers teachers of management the world's largest single collection of case studies. The on-line catalogue numbers in excess of 54,000 cases, teaching notes, videos, CDs, journal article reprints and background materials. The ecch case collection can be viewed at any time under Case Search.
